Have a New Component That Needs Development?

Not every requirement starts with an established, running part. Varun Tools supports customers who need a new or non-standard component developed from a drawing — reviewing feasibility, planning the manufacturing route, producing trial samples, and stabilising the process before it moves into recurring production.

This capability sits alongside our standard machining work, drawing on the same CNC, VMC and inspection infrastructure, but applied to components that require development before they can be treated as routine production.

Custom Engineered Components We Support

Built to Take a Drawing to a Stable Process

  • Feasibility review — Manufacturing route, tooling and inspection requirements assessed before commitment.
  • Trial development — Sample components manufactured and measured against the drawing.
  • In-process inspection — Roughness testing, profile projection and air-gauge checks applied from the trial stage onward, not only after production starts.
  • Process stabilisation — Feedback incorporated and the process standardised before recurring production begins.
  • Continuity into production — The same infrastructure used for development carries the part into repeat manufacturing, with no handoff to a different setup.

Inspection From the First Trial Sample

Custom and new components are measured against the drawing from the first trial sample onward — using roughness testers, profile projectors and air gauge units — so any deviation is identified and corrected before the process moves into recurring production, not after.
